e-scan - Scan Tool
Made specifically for stand-alone scanners, e-scan controls your scanner. It allows you to use multiple Profiles to control your scanning tasks. Each Profile describes the scanner settings that control the tools used as documents are scanned, where the imaged documents are sent, and the file format of the resulting images. e-scan can also send scanned images to remote locations through the use of FTP protocol, which facilitates centralized storage for larger organizations.
e-retrieve - Document Retrieval
e-retrieve is a web based document search and retrieval tool. Search criteria, which can be either keywords or document attributes, are entered. e-retrieve searches the repository for previously saved documents and returns a list of all matching documents that the user has permission to view. The user indicates the documents they want to view and the selected documents are displayed in a result viewer. Certain fields of data can be redacted, or hidden from view, based on a user's privileges. Once a document is displayed, the user can add annotations, such as times or date stamps, comments, or other text to the image. The user can also print, fax, email or copy documents to CD or DVD. The original document always remains secure in the document repository. All actions performed on any document can be tracked and logged for security purposes, and can be reverted as needed.
e-enhance - Image Enhancement
e-enhance takes the document images from stand alone desktop scanners and multifunction devices, applies image enhancing tools, and delivers the document images to a local or network location. e-enhance can de-skew, de-speckle, crop, and sharpen the images it processes based on settings controlled by the client. e-enhance can also removes blank pages and color backgrounds, compress the images, and output them in one of several formats. The e-enhance system also allows the application of endorsements, such as time and date stamps, and supports the splitting of batch scans into separate files by each page, number of pages, or bar codes. If you have file specific security requirements, e-enhance will even encrypt the images as PDF files for restricting unauthorized access without the proper password to unlock them.
e-index - Document Indexing
e-index offers full document archiving capabilities in a web based product. e-index can use advanced features such as OCR, redaction, secure document storage, sophisticated document security features, and a complete audit trail. An administrator creates Document Profiles, and each Profile describes the attributes and the security settings for the documents that will be indexed within the Profile. The documents can be manually indexed or automatically indexed using OCR or barcodes. The indexed documents are stored in either Microsoft SQL or SQL Express tables for retrieval with e-retrieve.
