...e-retrieve is the answer!

e-retrieve allows you to find indexed and archived documents quickly and easily, and eliminates lost time spent searching haphazardly. Using a web browser interface, the user may search for keywords, document attributes, categories, or any other unique qualifiers, and e-retrieve will locate the archived images in record time. Security features and logging ensure that only the documents or areas within a document that a user has permissions to view are displayed, ensuring the confidentiality and levels of control required to maintain compliance with regulations.

Once a document has been retrieved, numerous features can be enabled to allow the user to perform tasks on the document, such as: emailing, faxing, annotating, printing, repaginating, and other unique and powerful tools.

Click to view larger image...e-retrieve makes finding your documents easy and efficient. Through a web browser, users can enter search criteria to locate documents. The criteria entered will limit the matching results displayed to them, and only those documents which are permitted in that user's security rights are shown. Using the e-retrieve tool allows for flexibility in the searching routines that suit each particular user. Once a search has been completed, the user may refine the search results by using the Search within a Search feature, reducing the initial results to help locate the desired document. "Fuzzy" logic and Keyword searches are supported as well for users of OCR.

In the Results view, the user can select documents in groups or individually, and display them for further actions. On the left side of the screen is a thumbnail view of the selected documents, Click to view larger image...while the right pane shows the currently selected document or page. With multiple page documents, the user can page through the document, split the document into multiple documents, or combine one or more documents into one final document. Group Profiles determine the features available to each group of users, and contain the settings of that group. Advanced features such as redactions, which are hidden areas within a document, are available and fully customizable, restricting any sensitive document data as needed.

After retrieval, a user can perform annotations and stamps to a document, and use Sticky Notes for making comments, all of which take place on a virtual "overlay" of the document, and do not affect the original image. Advanced Logging features allow for the administration to see who has viewed, changed, or worked with a document, and can even allow for regression of the changes as necessary. This provides auditing controls and allows for compliance with industry accountability standards, such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. With the correct permissions, a user can print, fax, email, or burn selected documents to a CD or DVD.
